I'm Kelsey. Sports are my passion. My first love was softball. I played 15+ years but I began to realize that I wasn't going to be a professional athlete and shortly after I decided to hang up my cleats. It took a little while to accept that I was no longer considered an anthlete but deep down I always knew I'd somehow be involved in the sports world.

 

Being involved in the behind-the-scenes aspect of sports was soemthing I never thought I would absolutely fal in love with but now that I've stepped across those lines I can't imagine doing anything different with my life. I can thank my internship with the Madison Mallards in Madison, Wisconsin. I spent my summer there falling in love with sports marketing.

 

This fall was the start of my senior at Central Washington University which means that I graduate in June. I will be receiving my degree in public relations and will have a double minor in advertising and sports business. I don't know where I will be this time next year but all I do know is that sports will be in my life.

 

Writing has always been my way to escape. Growing up I would write short stories and have my parents read them over and over. This blog is a way for me to continue to write and speak my mind about sports and pretty much whatever else comes to mind!
